Ford County Finance Committee met Nov. 9.

The Finance Committee met on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 8:30 A.M. in the Small Courtroom in the Courthouse. Those in attendance were: Mr. Berger, Mr. Lindgren, Mr. Ferguson, Mr. May and Chairman McCall.
Also in attendance were Circuit Clerk Evans, Supervisor of Assessments Patricia Langland, Public Health Dept. Director Lana Sample, Treasurer Stevens, Sheriff Doran, Will Brumleve with the Ford County and Clerk Frederick.
Not present was Mr. Nuss.
Mr. McCall made the motion to revise the Agenda by moving New Business under Public Comment. Mr. Berger moved to approve the revised Agenda. Mr. Lindgren seconded it. Voice Vote - Carried
Lana Sample with the Ford County Public Health Dept. spoke to the committee briefly about filling the last open position in her department soon.
Mr. Berger made the motion to pass 4 Resolutions for the sale of Delinquent Tax Property in Ford County to the full board. Mr. Lindgren seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Berger made the motion to pass a Resolution for a Zoning Dist. Change in Melvin to the full board. Mr. Lindgren seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Ferguson made the motion to pass a Resolution for the 2017-2018 Holiday Schedule to the full board. Mr. May seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. McCall made the motion to pass a Resolution for the 2017-2018 County Board Meetings to the full board. Mr. Berger seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. McCall made the motion to pass a Resolution for the FY 2018 Public Building Commission Levy to the full board. Mr. Lindgren seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Berger made the motion to pass a Resolution for the FY 2018 Annual Budget & Appropriation Ordinance to the full board. Mr. Lindgren seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Berger made the motion to pass a Resolution Amending the Circuit Clerk’s Salary to the full board. Mr. Ferguson seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Berger made the motion to pass a Resolution for Salary Increases for Salary and Hourly Employees to the full board. Mr. Ferguson seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Berger made the motion to pass a Resolution for Salary Increases for the Probation Officers to the full board.
Mr. Ferguson seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
The General Fund Bills were reviewed. Mr. Ferguson moved to recommend to the board that the General Fund bills be paid. Mr. May seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Ferguson made the motion to pass a Resolution to Review the Ordinance on Windfarm Construction to the full board. Mr. May seconded it. Voice Vote – Carried
Mr. Ferguson moved to adjourn; Mr. Berger seconded it. Meeting adjourned at 10:02 A.M
