Village of Thomasboro Board of Trustees met October 23. 

Here is the minutes as provided by the board:

A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Thomasboro was held on Monday,

October 23, 2017. President Evans called the meeting to order at 5:00pm.

Roll Call

The Village Clerk called the roll, finding the following members physically present: Village

President W. Tyler Evans and Trustees Anna Martin, Dustin Rhodes, and Ronda Scott.

Trustees Anthony Grilo, Kyle Henegar, and Trent Sage were absent.

Other Village officials present: Jeremy Reale, Village Clerk. Also present was Chief Deputy

Allen Jones of the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.

Executive Session

Trustee Scott moved to enter into executive session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (C)(1), for the

purpose of interviewing candidates for the position of Chief of Police. Trustee Martin seconded

the motion.

The Village Clerk called the roll:

YEAS: Martin, Rhodes, and Scott – 3

NAYS: None – 0

ABSENT: Grilo, Henegar, and Sage – 3

The motion carried by roll call vote of 3 to 0.

The Board entered into executive session at 5:03pm.

The Board reconvened in open session at 9:04pm.

Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the Board, Trustee Rhodes moved to adjourn

the meeting. Trustee Scott seconded the motion. Motion carried viva voce vote.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:05pm.
