Rantoul Village Special Board met Aug. 24.
Here is the agenda provided by the Board:
1. Call to Order – Mayor Smith
Roll Call
2. Approval of Agenda
3. Public Participation
Citizens wishing to address the Village Board with respect to any item of business listed upon the agenda or any matter not appearing on the agenda are asked to complete a public participation form and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the meeting. Comments will be limited to three minutes for each speaker. Motion to enter into Closed Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2/(C) 6, to consider the setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body.
And
Motion to enter into Closed Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (C) 1, to consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. The Rantoul Village board Returns into Open Session.
Section D – New Business
Discussion of any items of new business not listed upon the formal agenda. No formal action will be taken on these items during this proceeding.
