A northbound lane of Prospect Avenue, between John Street and Green Street, is currently closed and will remain so until Feb. 24 as the Illinois American Water Company works to repair a damaged water main.
This closure has reduced northbound traffic to one lane between John Street and Green Street. Those traveling on Green Street will still be able to move east and west, but westbound traffic on the street will be blocked from right turns onto Prospect Avenue.
While all roads are scheduled to reopen to traffic on Feb. 24, this depends on weather and any effects it might have on the Illinois American Water Company’s ability to complete its work.
