Woodstock City Council met at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20.
The city of Woodstock operates under the council-manager form of government that combines the political leadership of an elected mayor and six city council members with an appointed city manager. The city council oversees all activities in the city and serves the needs of city residents. City council meetings are held at 7 p.m.on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in the City Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 121 W. Calhoun St.

E. MANAGER'S REPORT NO. 81
1. Ordinance – Crystal Lake Boundary Agreement
Approve an Ordinance Authorizing the Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Woodstock and the City of Crystal Lake extending the term of the existing Boundary Agreement for one year. (81a)
2. Waiver of Competitive Bids - Apple Creek Liftstation
a) Authorize a Waiver of Competitive Bids and
b) Approve the repair of a 40-horsepower submersible pump, which upon failure of one of the two pumps in service will be installed in the City’s Apple Creek Lift Station. Repairs will be made by Metropolitan Pump Company, Romeoville, IL for an amount not-to-exceed $16,115.

3. Ordinance – 315 W. Judd Street, Front Lot Line Setback Variance
Approve an Ordinance Varying Provisions of the Woodstock Unified Development Ordinance for Property at 315 W. Judd Street, allowing the construction of a 22.5’ x 6’ porch within 17 feet of the front lot line.

4. Agreement – Fiber Consortium Amendment
Approve a modification to the McHenry County Fiber Consortium Intergovernmental Agreement allowing multiple terms for officers, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the revised agreement.

5. Ordinance – Marengo Building Inspection Services
Approve an Ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Woodstock and the City of Marengo for the provision of Building Inspection Services.

6. Professional Services – Professional Engineering Design Services for the City’s 2017 Road Resurfacing Program
Approve a Professional Engineering Services proposal from Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick Inc., for design engineering services with a goal of obtaining a first quarter 2017 bid letting for the City’s 2017 Street Resurfacing Program at a cost not-to-exceed $28,860.50.
