All meetings are at Brookens Administrative Center – 1776 E Washington Street in Urbana – unless otherwise noted. To

enter Brookens after 4:30 p.m., enter at the north (rear) entrance located off Lierman Avenue.

Champaign County will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication

20 Hartke called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.

24 Alix, Harrison, Hartke, and McGuire were present, establishing the presence of a quorum.

26 Approval of Agenda/Addendum

28 MOTION by Alix to approve the agenda; seconded by Harrison. Motion carried with unan-

29 imous support.

31 Approval of Minutes

33 MOTION by Alix to approve the minutes of June 21, 2016; seconded by Harrison. Motion

34 carried with unanimous support.

40 CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO 5 ILCS 120/2(c) 2 TO CONSIDER COLLECTIVE NEGO-

41 TIATING MATTERS BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND ITS EMPLOYEES OR THEIR REP-

42 RESENTATIVES

44 MOTION by Alix to enter into closed session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c) 2 to consider col-

45 lective negotiating matters between Champaign County and its employees or their representatives. He

46 further moved that the following individuals remain present: County Administrator; Deputy County

Labor Subcommittee Minutes, Cont’d.

47 Administrator, Assistant State’s Attorney, County Engineer, and the Recording Secretary; seconded by

48 Harrison. Motion carried by roll call vote of 4 to 0. Alix, Harrison, Hartke, and McGuire voted in

49 favor of the motion. The committee entered into closed session at 4:07 p.m.

51 The committee resumed open session at 4:42 p.m.

53 Other Business

55 MOTION by Alix to approve the Closed Session minutes of June 21, 2016; seconded by Har-

56 rison. Motion carried with unanimous support.

58 Hartke indicated that the State’s Attorney had reviewed the closed session minutes and found

59 that there were no documents subject to review under the parameters of Resolution No. 7969 Resolution

60 Establishing Procedures for Semi-annual Review of Closed Session Minutes by the Champaign County

61 Board.

65 Hartke declared the meeting adjourned at 4:43 p.m.
