The city of Bloomington Liquor Commission met Tuesday to consider a temporary suspension of portions of the alcoholic beverage code for Drifter's Pub.
Here's the meeting's agenda, as provided by the city:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call
3. Public Comment
4. Consideration of approving the amended Commission minutes of August 9, 2016.
5. Consideration of the request from Nick Hurley of Drifter’s Pub and Josh Maubach to
suspend portions of Chapter 6 Alcoholic Beverages, Section 22 Open Containers – Not to
Be Removed from Premises, on October 22, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the
special event A Noble Run, prohibiting open alcohol.
6. Consideration of a change of Officer positions from Bloomington Columbian Home
Association, d/b/a Knights of Columbus, located at 1706 R T Dunn Dr, currently holding
a CA liquor license which allows the sale of all types of alcohol by the glass for
consumption on the premises seven (7) days a week. Changes are: Steven Scudder,
President, was replaced by Michael Anthony (Tony) Kiley, President. Dennis M Fries,
Vice President, was replaced by Dan Carmany, Vice President. Charles Morton,
Secretary, was replaced by Michael O’Driscoll, Secretary. Dennis M Fries is now the
Comptroller.
7. Consideration of a change of Officer positions from Sodexo America LLC, d/b/a Illinois
Wesleyan University, located at 104 University Ave, currently holding a W liquor license
which allows catering services to private parties. Changes are: Scott Robins, Secretary,
was replaced by Joan McGlockton, Secretary.
8. Adjournment.
