The village of Homer Board of Trustees met Monday to approve bids for tree removal.
"Homer is a village of 1200 residents in eastern Champaign County, a community with over 150 years of history. Homer began on the banks of the Salt Fork in 1837, moving to its present location in 1855. The village is located five miles south of exit 197 on interstate 74."

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby provided that the Village of Homer, Illinois, President and Board of Trustees will conduct a Special Meeting at Homer Village Hall, 500 E Second St, Homer, Illinois at 7:00pm on July 25, 2016.
The Agenda for said special meeting is as follows:
1. Discuss and approve solicitation of tree removal bids
2. Discuss and approve purchase of new computer for Clerk’s Office
3. Discuss amendment to golf cart ordinance allowing handicap individuals access to public areas
4. Discuss changes to Village Zoning Ordinance
