The city of Urbana Free Library Board met Tuesday to review the memorandum of understanding between the Urbana School District No. 116 and the Urbana Free Library.

The Library Board conducts all business pertaining to the library's operations. All routine business of the library is discussed and approved by the entire Board at regular or special meetings. The Library Board also establishes the operating budget for the library, but does not have authority to approve a tax levy.
