The Cunningham Township Board met in Regular session Monday, May 2, 2016 at 7

p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street,

Urbana, Illinois.

A. ROLL CALL

Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to

order at 7:00 p.m.

B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve minutes from March 7,

2016. Trustee Aaron Ammons seconded. Motion carried by voice vote.

C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS

The following items were presented in omnibus fashion:

1. Town Fund

2. General Assistance Fund

Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the

amount of $54,442.20 General Assistance Fund in the amount of

$17,129.34. Trustee Aaron Ammons seconded. Motion carried by voice

vote.

E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS

There was none.

G. NEW BUSINESS

1. Designation of FY 2017 Tentative Budget

Trustee Charles Smyth made a motion to approve the tentative

budget and to meet in 2 weeks with the Town Board Budget committee

to review. Trustee Aaron Ammons seconded. Motion carried by roll

call. Votes were as follows:

Aaron Ammons – Aye Diane Marlin - Aye

Bill Brown – Aye Dennis Roberts - Aye

Michael P. Madigan – Nay Charles Smyth - Aye

2. Closed and Open Session to Consider

Township Attorney Frederic M. Grosser stated that there is no need

to go into closed session at this time. Mr. Grosser stated that at

this time is on the docket for the May term which ends on May 19th.

A formal order should be entered on the case by May 25, 2016.

H. ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Town

Board, Chair Prussing declared the meeting adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
