The city of Urbana has issued a formal solicitation of bids for a chiller replacement project scheduled for the Urbana City Building at 400 S. Vine St.
Bid documents may be obtained from the Office of the Director of Public Works, 706 South Glover Ave., or be downloaded by accessing the website at http://urbanaillinois.us/sites/default/files/attachments/chiller-replacment.pdf .
When obtaining plans, bidders are required to notify the engineer, Henneman Engineering Inc. by emailing to the attention of Mark Burnett at mburnett@henneman.com , or by calling 217-359-1514, to ensure that they are copied on any addenda that might be issued going forward.
Bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at the Public Works Center. As per usual procedure, at that time all the bids will be opened and read publicly.
