The Urbana City Council's Committee of the Whole met Monday to hear budget presentations from the Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works Department and Public Library.
Among measures considered Monday night were an ordinance authorizing the transfer and assignment of the West Country Club Road Overflow Pipe; and two ordinances amending the Urbana City Code to increase the number of Class G-2 liquor licenses to accommodate Vegas Place at 501 S. Vine St. and the Poker Room at 1509 E. Washington St.
