The village of Tolono Board of Trustees met Tuesday to review a series of reports from the Public Works Department.

The engineers have reviewed and approved quotes for drainage at the northeast corner of Vine and Whitehead streets.

Additional reports covered the demolition of the Fire Station, the status of the Police Station design and the hiring of a building official or zoning administrator.

In new business, the council approved an ordinance designating the intersection of Condit and Austin streets as a three-way stop.

The board also discussed possible rate increases from Illinois American Water; yearly compensation for employees; and application of sewer credits.

The board will next meet June 7 at 507 W. Strong St.
