The village of Homer Trustees met May 9 to hear an update on Dumpster Day 2016.
The village also approved a donation to the farmers market and OK'd the hiring of summer help. An ordinance amending the tax increment financing agreement with Main Street Belly Deli also was approved.
Other agenda items included waiving the sewer connection fee for a new business, placing a Veterans Memorial at Village Hall, approval of gasoline purchases, and the fiscal year 2017 Intergovernmental Agreement for Local Government Health Plan.
The board also approved an additional $10,000 payment on the U.S. Department of Agriculture loan for Village Hall.
