The village of Rantoul Board of Trustees met April 8 to approve the 2016-17 fiscal year annual employee benefits package.
The trustees also approved a payment of $45,000 to Newmark Grubb Knight for the lease of the property at 707 Veterans Parkway to Colonial Midwest Imports.
An agreement not to exceed $77,831 with Burns & McDonnell for a ramp and runway rehabilitation project was approved, as was tax increment financing for a redevelopment project on the proposed Route 136.
The board also approved a special request to waive a zoning restriction on the property at 946 Broadmeadow Road.
