Committee recommends candidate for Champaign County's supervisor of assessments

The Champaign County Committee of the Whole's Finance/Policy, Personnel, Appointments/Justice and Social Services Committee confirmed its recommendation of Paula Bates as the new supervisor of assessments March 8.

The appointment will move to the county board for final consideration.

The committee also recommended approval of the county engineer's contract, and the appointment of Linda Hascall to the Senior Services Advisory Board.

The committee also agreed to allow the Local Foods Policy Council to expire and recommended approval of eight budget amendments.
