The Urbana City Council voted March 21 to purchase a piece of property in Champaign County to help complete the path for its planned expansion of North Lincoln Avenue.
The council has also voted to claim by eminent domain several properties along the proposed extension, which would extend North Lincoln Avenue from Saline Court to Olympian Drive.
The property's Permanent Index Number is 25-15-29-300-004.
