The Friends of Urbana Free Library's spring book sale will take place this week at the Lewis Auditorium at the Urbana Free Library.
The sale will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday for members of Friends of The Urbana Free Library as a preview night, running until 8:30 p.m. The sale will open up to the public on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Remaining books will be sold at half price on Sunday from 1-4:30 p.m. and books that have not been sold by Monday, April 4 will be given away between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Proceeds from this book sale will be used to support the addition of Chanute Air Base archived materials to the library’s collection.
