The Champaign City Council will hold a special study session Tuesday at the Champaign City Building to interview the 10 candidates for the open District 4 council seat.
The vacancy was created when Council Member Marci Dodds resigned to move out of the area.
The candidates include Amanda Bloomfield, Jared Fritz, Don Gerard, Lisa Gundersen, Michael Markstahler, Kimberley Nystrom, Joe Petry, Mary Shultz, Benjamin Daniel Smith, and Greg Stock.
The candidates will be given the same list of stock questions to study in advance.
Each applicant's application is available for public review online at ci.champaign.il.us/councilci.champaign.il.us/council.
The study session is scheduled for 7 p.m. at 102 N. Neil St.
