The Fisher board of trustees discussed financing for public works projects at a special meeting Feb. 11 at the Fisher Community Center.
The trustees said the village had $45,000 of surplus cash after paying village salaries that could be put toward projects, which include sewer extensions and new water meters.
The board also mentioned cashing in a CD worth approximately $100,000. Trustees estimated the projected remaining balance at approximately $90,000.
The village also approved a $12,500 contract with RPH to replace roofing and siding at the village's water plan.
The trustees said the village has some materials that will be put toward the project if it is still of a usable quality to help defray some of the cost.
