Urbana HOME Consortium seeks to work with Habitat for Humanity

The city of Urbana Community Development Commission will meet tonight at the Urbana City Building to vote on a number of resolutions clarifying the HOME Consortium's relationship with Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County.

The commission will vote on a resolution certifying Habitat for Humanity to work with the HOME Consortium, and on a resolution authorizing a community housing development agreement for the current fiscal year.

The Urbana HOME Commission is an entity representing the city of Urbana, city of Champaign and Champaign County that was created to apply for and manage grant funds to support affordable housing projects in the Champaign-Urbana area.

At tonight's meeting, the Community Development Commission will also discuss its Annual Action Plan for 2016-17.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at 400 S. Vine St.
