The Champaign Public Library Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday at the main library building to discuss progress in its search for a new library director.
Library officials have been seeking a new director since June, when Marsha Gove announced her retirement. Grove was scheduled to retire at the end of January.
Despite a nationally broadcast search facilitated by the professional executive talent company Bradbury Associates/Gossage Sager Associates, the library has yet to find the right match for the position. At Wednesday's meeting, the board will review the process thus far and discuss the best course moving forward.
The trustees will also discuss meeting room policy.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at 200 W. Green St. in Champaign.
