Darwyn Boston State Farm agency in Mahomet is this year's Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year.
Since arriving in Mahomet in 2013, Boston has landed a spot on the chamber's board and his agency has sponsored several events such as the Sangamon River Music Festival, Trunk or Treat,and the Chamber Golf Outing.
Chamber officials said the company counts bringing the Village Christmas back to downtown Mahomet as one of its greatest achievements.
The award was announced last week.
