The village of Mahomet is accepting bids on two surplus vehicles.
From now until 4 p.m. Monday, the village is taking bids on a 2001, two-wheel drive Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup with an automatic transmission, V6 engine, and 71,423 miles. It comes with a toolbox and a spray-on bed liner. The village lists its condition as "fair."
The village is also accepting bids until 11 a.m. on Feb. 2 on a new 2016 Turbocharged Diesel Engine Backhoe that will be used by the Waste/Wastewater Department. The village is interested in trading in a 2006 New Holland B95 Loader / Backhoe and four hoe buckets as part of the deal.
