The Urbana Historic Preservation Commission will continue its public hearing on historic landmark status for the Stephen S. Henson House during its Wednesday meeting at the Urbana City Building.

The Henson House at 611 W. Elm St. is owned by Hunsinger Enterprises Inc. Full consideration of the building's historic status has been repeatedly delayed since November, when the request was brought forward by Brian Adams.

After the public hearing, the commission will also discuss the status of Mumford House, the oldest building on the University of Illinois's Champaign-Urbana campus. It was built in 1870.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine St.
