The Champaign Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Nov. 23 to discuss personnel issues.
The group approved by a 2-0 vote promotions for Johnathan Tatum and Robert Delong. Both officers will move from probationary status to Class A officers. Class B probationary commissions were approved for Caleb Billingsley, Lauren Schweizer, and Lance Carpenter.
The commission also planned to discuss the election of officers, but decided to postpone that discussion until all its members were present.
Vice Chair Lekevie Johnson was absent from the meeting.
