The Thomasboro Board voted 4-1 Nov. 2 to offer a 2 percent raise to Public Works Superintendent Tyler Martin.
During a closed executive session, trustees Jeff Robertson, Anthony Grilo, Kyle Henegar, and Mickey Wilson voted yes, Trustee Rhodes voted no, and Anna Martin abstained.
Martin provided the village with an update on two broken motors in the village's wells. One had cracked housing and the other had a faulty pump.
Robertson said the village had issued permits for the demolition and replacement of a bin at the grain elevator.
Grillo said the village's plans to extend Thomas Street have been stalled by slow communication with the Canadian National Railroad.
The board also unanimously approved $500 for village officer manager Karen Eller to attend a training on grant writing.
