The Champaign City Council held its regular meeting Dec. 1, unanimously passing resolutions to acquire property at Bristol Place and contract with the University of Illinois for the design and construction of campus street improvements.
The council also appointed Erika Hackman to the Champaign Public Library Board of Trustees and Stephen Dunn to the Historic Preservation Commission.
Council member Marci Dodds was absent from the meeting.
The next Champaign City Council meeting is scheduled for Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Champaign City Building.
