Tracy Parsons, the Community Relations Manager, recently attended the Communiversity Action to Renew Engagement (C.A.R.E) Talks at Virginia Theater. The event aimed to unite campus and community members in supporting students in east-central Illinois. Attendees were encouraged to connect, learn about community-led initiatives, and discover organizations that assist them. Discussions at the event covered important topics such as digital equity, educational disparities, and STEAM initiatives in local schools.
