Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district since 2021, has recently posted a series of statements on her social media account criticizing Democratic policies and expressing support for Republican initiatives alongside former President Trump.

On November 4, 2025, Miller wrote: "While Democrats obstruct and offer zero solutions, I’m proud to stand with President Trump and @HouseGOP to deliver results for Americans:

Cutting taxes and regulations

Defending family farms and rural communities

Unleashing U.S. energy

Deporting 515,000+ illegal"

Later that day, she addressed the impact of sanctuary policies on families affected by crime: "Countless families live with the heartbreak caused by deadly 'sanctuary' policies. I’ve met the parents and loved ones who lost everything.

It’s time to bring the full weight of the law down on states that choose lawlessness over American lives." This post was published at 20:03 UTC.

In another statement posted at 22:24 UTC on November 4, Miller commented on ongoing debates regarding healthcare policy: "Democrats have made it crystal clear: they’ll block pay and assistance for struggling American families unless taxpayer-funded healthcare is handed to illegal aliens."

Miller’s public remarks reflect her alignment with House GOP leadership and former President Trump on issues such as immigration enforcement, tax policy, rural advocacy, and opposition to sanctuary state laws.

Having replaced John Shimkus in Congress in 2021 after winning election victories in both 2020 and 2022—defeating Erika Weaver with more than seventy percent of the vote in her first race and Paul Lange by a similar margin two years later—Miller continues to represent conservative priorities in Illinois’ largely rural district.
