The University of Illinois has announced that tickets for the upcoming football game against Rutgers on November 1 are sold out. This marks the fourth consecutive sellout for Illinois, matching the program's longest streak since it achieved 28 straight sellouts between 1982 and 1987. The team also recorded four straight sellouts during the 2008 season.

Illinois currently holds a 5-2 overall record and is 2-2 in Big Ten conference play. The team has three home games left in the regular season, including the sold-out Rutgers game. Fans interested in attending future games can still purchase limited tickets for matchups against Maryland on November 15 and Northwestern on November 29.

Tickets can be bought through SeatGeek, which serves as the official ticket marketplace for Illinois Athletics.
