U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress, used her social media platform on October 4, 2025, to criticize state and local officials over immigration enforcement and the treatment of federal agents in Illinois.

In a post made at 16:28 UTC, Miller wrote: "Sanctuary states issuing “NO NAME GIVEN” CDLs pose a serious national security threat. Enough!"

Later that day, at 18:49 UTC, she addressed Illinois Governor JB Pritzker directly with another message: "Shame on you, Governor. You betrayed your oath, sided with criminal aliens, and are letting violent leftist mobs attack federal agents. Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She won her seat by significant margins in both the 2020 and 2022 general elections—defeating Erika Weaver with 73.5% of the vote in 2020 and Paul Lange with 71.2% of the vote in 2022.
