Illinois to host Ohio State for Illibuck rivalry game on October 11

Illinois will host Ohio State in a college football game at Gies Memorial Stadium on Saturday, October 11. The game is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Central Time and will be broadcast on FOX, according to an announcement from the conference office and television partners.

The matchup marks the first meeting between Illinois and Ohio State since 2017. It is also the first time since 2015 that Illinois will host the Buckeyes in a contest for the Illibuck rivalry trophy.

Currently ranked #22, Illinois has a record of 4-1 overall and 1-1 in Big Ten play. Ohio State, ranked #1, also holds a 4-1 record with a 1-0 mark in conference games.

Before this meeting, Illinois will travel to Purdue for an away game on Saturday, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Central Time and will air on BTN. Meanwhile, Ohio State is set to host Minnesota at 6:30 p.m. Central Time on NBC.

Other Big Ten games scheduled for October 11 include UCLA at Michigan State (BTN), Indiana at Oregon (CBS), Northwestern at Penn State (FS1), Nebraska at Maryland (BTN), Iowa at Wisconsin (FS1), Michigan at USC (NBC), and Purdue at Minnesota (BTN).
