U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who represents Illinois’ 15th district in Congress, posted a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) highlighting recent legislative achievements and trade agreements impacting American agriculture.
On September 19, 2025, Miller wrote, "We fought hard to ensure this bill reflects the needs of the producers who feed our nation and the world every day." She encouraged readers to view her latest op-ed with Congressman GT Thompson and Rep. Mike Bost about benefits secured for farm families across Illinois.
Earlier that same day, Miller celebrated a new international trade agreement by stating, "Huge win for American agriculture! Thank you @POTUS and @SecRollins for securing a $10 BILLION commitment from Taiwan to buy U.S. soybeans, corn, wheat, and beef. Our farmers are the best in the world, and now they have even more markets to prove it!"
A day prior, on September 18, 2025, Miller shared another post at this link.
Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She was elected after defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with over 73% of the vote and won re-election in 2022 against Paul Lange with over 71% support.
