U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress, posted a series of statements on September 18, 2025, addressing concerns about online safety, immigration policy in sanctuary states, and public security measures.
In her first post at 15:50 UTC, Miller wrote: "Radical Leftists are exploiting online platforms to incite riots and political violence. They will be exposed and held accountable. But parents, do your part, and stay vigilant about what your children are doing online!"
Later that day at 18:35 UTC, she turned her attention to the issue of driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants in certain states: "Sanctuary States are handing out CDLs to illegal aliens who can’t speak English or read road signs. This is a danger to every American on our roads and I'm taking action. LISTEN:"
At 20:41 UTC on the same day, Miller issued a brief call for increased security measures with the statement: "Bring in the National Guard!"
Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She was elected after defeating Paul Lange in the 2022 general election by a margin of over forty percentage points and previously defeated Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with more than seventy percent of the vote.
