Rep. Mary Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of messages on her official X account on September 13 and 14, 2025, honoring Charlie Kirk for his influence and legacy.
On September 13, Miller wrote: "As a proud Illinois native, Charlie Kirk’s courage inspired millions to stand boldly for their faith, to love America, and defend freedom." In a subsequent post the same day, she shared a link without additional commentary: "https://t.co/qq8hIipZuQ".
Continuing her remarks the following day, Miller stated: "Charlie Kirk believed America’s future depended on a generation rooted in Christ, unshakable and unwilling to surrender. He was right! We must rise up and carry his mission forward with courage and faith!"
Mary Miller has served in Congress since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She has won consecutive elections by wide margins; in 2022 she defeated Paul Lange with over 71% of the vote and in 2020 she prevailed over Erika Weaver with more than 73%.
