Rep. Mary Miller, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Illinois’ 15th district, used her social media platform on September 9 and 10, 2025, to voice criticism of the education system, immigration policy, and media coverage of Democratic policies.

On September 9, Miller posted: "The education system is failing our kids, and Democrats want to keep them trapped in it. This injustice must end. Every student deserves the freedom of school choice!"

The following day, she addressed state spending and immigration: "Illinois is projected to spend over $2.5 BILLION on illegal aliens by the end of 2025. Every single one must be removed immediately.  The American people voted for mass deportations and President Trump is delivering."

Later that same day, Miller criticized media coverage related to crime: "The Fake News refuses to hold Democrats accountable for their pro-criminal policies that unleash chaos and violence across America. They aren't just negligent—they are complicit in the destruction of our communities."

Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She won her seat in Congress after defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with 73.5% of the vote and was re-elected in 2022 against Paul Lange with a margin of over 71%.

Her recent statements reflect ongoing debates at both state and national levels regarding public education reform, immigration enforcement, government spending priorities, and media accountability.
