Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of statements on her social media account in early September 2025 addressing local celebrations, state leadership, and national security concerns.

On September 8, 2025, Miller highlighted her participation in a significant local event: "This weekend, I was honored to attend the Adams County Bicentennial Finale, which celebrated 200 years of history. I had the privilege of recognizing 86 farm families who have cultivated their land for over two centuries, and thanking our veterans for their heroic service."

Later that day, she criticized Illinois Governor JB Pritzker's approach to crime: "JB Pritzker has no plan to stop crime, just endless finger-pointing at President Trump. His legacy: criminals first, victims last. @SeanStations" (September 8, 2025).

On September 9, Miller raised concerns about foreign investment in U.S. property near sensitive sites: "China is buying up U.S. farmland near military bases and residential properties at record rates. Illinois farmland and homes must never fall into the hands of our adversaries. I’m fighting to protect our farms, food supply, and national security!"

Miller has served as the congressional representative for Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She won her seat by defeating Paul Lange in the general election of 2022 with over seventy percent of the vote and previously defeated Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election by a similar margin.
