Illinois women’s tennis has released its 2025 fall schedule, according to head coach Evan Clark. The team is set to participate in up to 11 events, with the season concluding at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, which will be held separately from the spring team championship for the second year.

The Illini will host three tournaments at Atkins Tennis Center during the fall. The first event on their calendar is the UTR/PTT Tournament, scheduled for September 1-9 in Urbana. Following this home opener, Illinois travels to Greenville, South Carolina for the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic from September 12-14.

The schedule continues with multiple tournaments later in September: ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina (September 20-28), Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Wisconsin (September 25-28), and Nebraska Invite in Lincoln (September 26-28).

October features two more home events at Atkins Tennis Center—a second UTR/PTT Tournament from October 6-12 and the ITA Midwest Regional from October 16-21.

In November, Illinois will compete at ITA Sectionals in College Station, Texas; ITA Conference Masters in San Diego; and Baylor’s H-E-B Invite in Waco—all taking place between November 6 and November 9.

The fall season wraps up with qualifying Illini athletes heading to Orlando for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships from November 18-23. Players can earn qualification through several tournaments including the ITA All-American Championships, ITA Regional Championships, ITA Conference Masters Championship, and ITA Sectional Championships.

Coach Clark commented on this upcoming schedule: “We are excited about our fall slate that gives us a great mix of home events at Atkins as well as some very strong national level tournaments on the road. This schedule will give our players opportunities to play against top competition every week while also preparing them for both individual and team success.”
