For the second consecutive year, 17 members of the University of Illinois Fighting Illini women's gymnastics team have been named Scholastic All-Americans by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA). The announcement was made Monday and highlights that Illinois had more honorees than any other Big Ten program. To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average.

The WCGA reported that a total of 1,218 women’s gymnasts from collegiate programs nationwide received Scholastic All-America honors this year, marking the highest number since data collection began in 2008. Illinois ranked 38th nationally for team GPA with an average of 3.6668, and nearly three-quarters—73.91%—of its roster earned national academic recognition.

Chloe Cho was noted as the only Illini gymnast to achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA during the academic year.

The following athletes were recognized as WCGA Scholastic All-Americans for 2025: Kennedy Brown, Alea Byrne, Chloe Cho, Olivia Coppola, Ashlyn Doyle, Marly Esteves, Makayla Green, Tali Joelson, Eden King, Katharine Klugman, Amelia Knight, Mareli Muller, Lyden Saltness, Megan Sapp, Maddie Vitolo, Emma White and Sydney Wilke.
