Lexanne Halama, Anna Ritter, and Victoria Zheng have been recognized on the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large list. The announcement was made today by the association.

To qualify for this recognition, nominees must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.50, complete at least one full calendar year at their current institution, and be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. Golfers must also participate in at least 70 percent of matches that are team scoring events or compete in the conference championship tournament.

Halama has achieved this distinction for the third consecutive year. She is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and was named an Illinois Outstanding Scholar Athlete among graduate student-athletes at The Oskees on April 28. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Halama completed her master's degree in integrative biology in May.

Ritter is pursuing a degree in communication and has earned this honor for the second consecutive year. A native of New Albany, Ohio, she was also named Academic All-Big Ten for the second time earlier this month on June 11.

Zheng received CSC Academic All-District honors for the first time following her performance as part of the Big Ten All-Tournament team with a tied-for-fifth finish at the Big Ten Championship in April. Hailing from Markham, Ontario, Canada, Zheng is currently working towards a degree in finance.
