On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Mahomet-Seymour High School standout Kobe Essien’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Tampa Spartans.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at UT Baseball Field against Tampa Spartans.
