On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Mahomet-Seymour High School standout Karley Yergler’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Tennessee State Tigers.

The game took place at Tiger Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. at Dail Softball Stadium against Central Michigan Chippewas.
