On Friday, Feb. 14, former Champaign Central High School standout Joel Sarver’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northeastern Huskies.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against Northeastern Huskies.
