On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Danville High School standout Jake Stipp’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Montevallo Falcons.

The game took place at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Falcons this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Montevallo Falcons.
