Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School (BHRA), located in Bismarck, Illinois, recently highlighted the achievements of its student-athletes through a series of social media posts. The school, which serves grades 9 to 12 and had an enrollment of 334 students during the 2019-2020 school year, celebrated both individual and team accomplishments in track and field as well as softball.

On May 15, BHRA congratulated several members of its track and field team for earning All-Vermilion Valley Conference honors. The recognition came after their performances at the VVC meet held the previous week. The school's tweet read: "Congratulations to these Blue Devil track & field individuals on earning All-Vermilion Valley Conference honors for their performances last week at the VVC meet! BHRA is proud of you! Go Blue Devils!"

Later that day, BHRA extended best wishes to its girls' teams competing in events scheduled for that date. The tweet stated: "Best of luck to our girls' teams in competition today! Lady Blue Devils Track & Field will perform at the Class 1A Sectional Track & Field meet at Westville High School! Lady Blue Devils Softball wraps up regular season play today, hosting LeRoy! Go Blue Devils!" This announcement highlighted the participation of the Lady Blue Devils Track & Field team in a sectional meet and noted that the softball team was concluding its regular season.

On May 16, BHRA announced another accolade for one of its athletes. Mason Cunningham was named News Gazette's Athlete of the Week. In recognition of this achievement, BHRA tweeted: "Congratulations to Mason Cunningham on winning News Gazette's Athlete of the Week! Blue Devil Nation - thanks for supporting our student-athletes!
