The Illini women's tennis team is set to compete in the 2025 Big Ten Women's Tennis Tournament, which will take place from April 23 to April 26 at Libbey Park in Ojai, California. The team secured the seventh seed after achieving an 8-5 record in league play. Illinois will face tenth-seeded Northwestern in the first round on Thursday at 5 p.m. CT.

Ranked 42nd, Illinois aims to win its first Big Ten title. The squad has completed the regular season with a 13-11 overall record, maintaining consistency by securing at least eight Big Ten victories in each of the past five seasons since the COVID-19 pandemic affected the 2020 season. Under the leadership of head coach Evan Clark, the team has consistently won at least seven league matches in every completed season.

The tournament format allows only the top 12 league finishers to participate in the Big Ten Tournament. All matches will be available for streaming on B1G+.
