A&R Services has announced an extension of a lane closure on Kirby Avenue between Neil Street and Oak Street to facilitate storm sewer repairs and pavement patching. The closure, which commenced on March 31, 2025, is expected to conclude by April 11, 2025, contingent upon weather conditions. During this period, eastbound traffic will be constrained to a single lane.
A&R Services is managing the repairs and has assured that the efforts are in line with safety and maintenance standards. This temporary traffic adjustment is necessary to ensure the timely completion of essential maintenance on the storm sewer infrastructure.
Residents and commuters have been advised to anticipate potential delays and plan their routes accordingly while the work is underway.
The city has urged the public to stay informed by subscribing to city news for updates on the progress and any changes regarding the roadwork schedule.
The lane closure is part of a broader effort to enhance road safety and infrastructure within the city limits.
