In preparation for the Masters next week, which features Illinois alums Brian Campbell and Thomas Detry, several other Illini alumni are participating in various professional golf tours this week.

Nick Hardy is making his tenth appearance in the PGA TOUR this season at the Valero Texas Open in San Antonio. He has participated in this event for the past three years, achieving T28 and T25 finishes in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

In the LIV Golf League, Thomas Pieters is playing with the 4Aces GC team at LIV Golf Miami, held at Trump National Doral. Pieters recently achieved a 24th place finish in Singapore, marking his third top-25 finish in four events and contributing to 4Aces' season-best third placement in the team competition.

On the Korn Ferry Tour, Luke Guthrie is competing at the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in Savannah, Georgia. Guthrie aims to make his fifth cut this year after missing the weekend at the Astara Chile Classic. Also in the Korn Ferry Tour, Dumont de Chassart is competing for the second time this season after his T16 finish at the 118 Visa Argentina Open. Chassart has previously participated in two PGA TOUR and three DP World Tour events in 2025.

In the PGA TOUR Americas, Piercen Hunt is entering the 70th Brazil Open as a Monday Qualifier in Rio de Janeiro. This is Hunt's tenth career start on the tour and his first in the Brazil Open.
