On Monday, March 24 former St. Thomas More High School Haleigh Timmer competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Monday, March 24, former St. Thomas More High School standout Haleigh Timmer’s current collegiate team the South Dakota State Jackrabbits lost 91-57 against the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the UConn Huskies during the championship.

Haleigh Timmer’s hometown is Rapids City and game position is guard.
